Body progress · Part of Choose The Run

The tape measure
you already carry.

Chest, waist, hips — measured with your phone's camera, at home, in the time it takes to stand still. You run to change your body. This is the part of the app that shows you it changing.

How it works

Stand still.
That's the workout.

No appointment, no gadget on a shelf, no wrestling a tape behind your own back. Your phone, a wall, and a minute.

  1. 01

    Prop your phone, step back

Lean your phone against anything at home. The camera finds your outline in the frame and reads your measurements across the neck, chest, waist and hips — no straps, no extra hardware, nothing to buy.

  2. 02

    Your height is the ruler

The app scales everything against your own height, so how far you stand from the camera makes no difference. Kitchen, hallway, hotel room — the numbers come out the same.

  3. 03

Sharpen it with a tape, once

The camera reads your outline; a tape measurement teaches the app your exact shape. Take one whenever you like and every estimate gets calibrated to you — your body, not a generic one.

  4. 04

    Watch the trend

Every measurement lands in your log. Week over week, month over month — the line that tells you whether the training is working, next to the runs that did the work.

Prop it, step back, done.

How we do it

We only need
your shadow.

A photo holds your face, your room, your clothes. The model reads one thing: your outline.

No tape measure required. The shadow is enough — and every tape reading you choose to take teaches the fit your exact shape, so the next shadow lands even closer.

  1. 01

    Separate you from the room

Your photograph becomes a black-and-white shape, and the picture is never passed any further — it is not needed.

  2. 02

Match a body to the shape

A 3D body is fitted until its outline lands on yours; your height is the ruler that turns it into centimetres.

  3. 03

    Measure the model, not you

Waist and chest are read off the finished mesh at their narrowest and fullest — searched for, never guessed from your height.

You are not part of this. These are volunteers who were measured and scanned for research. Your own measurements are never added to this set.

The corpus records sex, height, weight and fourteen tape measurements — measured on a registered 3D scan, not read back off the shadow. It has no age column, so there is no age filter.

Your numbers, your way

Four ways to take
one honest number.

Ten seconds or three minutes, camera, photos, or tape — every way lands in the same log, on the same trend line.

Upload a front photo, and a side one if you have it. The app measures them — you place nothing.

    Chest · waist · hips

Illustrated: a phone on a table, a runner in frame, and every line the capture reads.

The camera reads widths across your outline and turns them into circumference estimates. Check one with a tape whenever you like: the reading is saved as a fact, and it calibrates the estimates to your exact shape. The more you tell it, the sharper it gets.

From your measurements, the app also works out a body-fat estimate using published equations — from your own numbers, not a chart of averages.

A scale gives you one number and no story. Your measurements say where the training is landing.
