Community and child safety standards
Last updated August 4, 2026
These standards apply to profiles, activity content, comments, teams, invitations, races, challenges, and every other interaction between people using Choose The Run. They supplement the Terms of Service.
Treat people and places safely
Do not threaten, harass, bully, stalk, impersonate, exploit, or target another person. Do not publish private information, encourage dangerous running behavior, trespass, or use Choose The Run to coordinate illegal activity. Content that promotes hatred or violence against a protected group is prohibited.
Sexual exploitation and child safety
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualization of minors, and any attempt to solicit sexual content or contact from a minor are strictly prohibited. Do not create, upload, request, link to, store, or share this material or behavior.
We remove prohibited material and restrict accounts when we become aware of it, preserve information when legally required, and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law. Never download or redistribute suspected illegal material in order to report it.
Other prohibited content
Do not post non-consensual intimate material, credible threats, instructions for serious wrongdoing, scams, malware, spam, intellectual-property infringement, or content that unlawfully exposes another person's precise location or identity. You must have permission to share every photo and piece of content you upload.
Report a concern
Use the Help or feedback path in the Choose The Run app, or email support@choosetherun.com with “Safety” in the subject. Identify the account or content and explain the concern without attaching unnecessary private information or suspected illegal material. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
Review and enforcement
We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, and cooperate with lawful investigations. The response depends on severity, context, recurrence, and legal obligations. A person affected by an enforcement decision may request review through support.
Child-safety contact
Google Play or a relevant authority seeking the designated Choose The Run child-safety contact may write to support@choosetherun.com. The operator must separately designate a named, trained individual in Play Console before publication.
