What stays on your phone

Your closets, the wardrobe with every garment and its picture, your outfits, your saved looks and your plan are kept in Deklat's own folder on your phone. A photo you bring in is copied there before it is kept anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes that folder, and Deklat has no copy of it.

Photographs

A photo leaves your phone only when you ask for something that needs it: reading a closet, reading your style, or rendering a try-on. It is sent to the artificial-intelligence service that performs the work, used for that request, and not kept afterwards. Your photographs are never used to train models, never shown to another wearer unless you post them to the community yourself, and never sold.

What we do keep

Deklat keeps a small record on our own servers so the app works and so we can see how it is used:

• An install identifier that the app makes up for itself. It is not your name, your phone number or your device's identifier, and it is not shared with anyone.
• How many times each kind of request was made, and how long a session lasted. Counts only, never the content of a request.
• Your email address, if you give it, and the invite codes you send or redeem.
• That an invite link was opened, with the kind of phone that opened it. A count, never an address or a name.
• Your subscription: which plan, whether it is active, and when the period ends. Apple tells us this; we never see your card or your Apple Account.
• If you use the community: your posts, the name you chose to show, and anything you reported or blocked.

The community

The community is off until you turn it on. What you post is visible to other wearers under the name you chose, which does not have to be your own. You can hide a post, block a wearer, or turn the community off again from the app, and your posts stop being shown.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple. We never receive your card details, your billing address or your Apple Account. Apple tells our server that a subscription exists and whether it is still good, which is how your plan opens in the app.

Children

Deklat is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep information from them.

Sharing, and what we never do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the services that make the app work: the artificial-intelligence service that processes a photo you submitted, Apple for payments, and our own hosting. Each is given the minimum needed to do that job.

Your choices

“Clean up and reset” in the app removes every space, your wardrobe, your photos, your style reads and your looks from the phone and empties the photo folder. To have the record on our servers deleted, write to support@choosetherun.com from the address you gave us, or ask from the app, and tell us to delete it. Deleting your record does not cancel a subscription; cancel that in your phone's settings, as described in the Terms of use.

Changes to this policy

If what we keep or send changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. A change that materially affects what happens to your photographs will be said plainly in the app as well.
